Potential Future Changes



Hey guys, in this post I'm going to talk about what I would like to see in the future of the game in terms of general fixes, buffs/nerfs, etc. The format of which I talk about these will be like a patch notes reveal post on the forums. So let's get started!

General
- Cauterize now costs 400 credits
- Wrecker now costs 400 credits
- Deft Hands now costs 300 credits
I've seen lots of people suggest that cauterize and wrecker's damage boost/healing reduction percentages go down, but then some healers will still be very good (Seris + Mortal Reach with a 75% healing redux can still heal for 1500 over the course of her heal) and most damage dealers would still shred through shields. Also, deft hands is rarely used, and when it is, it's usually picked by a bad player or a troll pick. 

- Shooting range is now extended
I would like there to be more in the shooting range. I'm thinking maybe a second floor, with 4 rooms like the first floor, but these rooms would need to be unlocked through certain achievements! I do have some ideas for these rooms:
- A room with a few Yings who deploy clones and heal themselves
- A room with an activation button (like the Cassie room) where Viktors spawn and hustle around in a random path for aiming practice
- A room with allied Cassies that autofire on enemies (like the reserve of the autofire Cassie room)
- A room with a bot (Champion not determined) that 1v1s you
I also have a few ideas for the achievements you need to unlock these rooms
- Unlocking the Ying room: Heal for over 100k in a match
- Unlocking the Viktor room: Get 50 grenade kills
- Unlocking the Cassie room: Get a kill as Cassie by knocking an enemy off the map
- The 1v1 room is unlocked by default

To be honest, I think it would be pretty awesome if the shooting range was like your "home" and you could customize it, unlock a ton of features, etc. But that's probably something for another day.

- Fix item buying in shooting range
- Allow for uneven custom games (i.e. 2v1, 3v4, etc)
- Instead of giving flanks extra credits for kills on enemy lines, give them extra credits for solo kills

Customizations
- Inara skin
- Lex skin
- Seris skin
- More mount options

Balances
Androxus
- Androxus is currently the top flanker, he needs to be nerfed in pure DPS and mobility while also making his Defiance more useful
- Reduce damage of Revolver from 600-575 per shot
- Decrease range at which damage begins to fall off
- Decrease Nether Step range by 10%
- Defiance now deals its bonus damage in thirds after each shot hits
- Increase accuracy of Defiance from 82 to 85

Barik
- Decrease cooldown of Rocket Boots from 14 to 12
- Decrease cooldown of Barricade from 15 to 13
- Tinkerin now causes Blunderbuss to deal 200 more damage rather than 100

Bomb King
- Sticking a sticky bomb onto an enemy now deals 260 damage instead of 10
- Detonating a sticky bomb now deals a maximum of 700 damage instead of 900

Buck
- Health increased from 2800 to 3000

Cassie
- The Impulse legendary now deals 400 extra damage rather than 300

Drogoz
- The bonus damage of Fusillade is decreased from 50% to 35%
- The cooldown of Fire Spit is increased from 8 to 9

Fernando
- Formidable now activates upon activating Immortal

Grover
- Chop Down reduction is reduced to 0.25/0.5/0.75/1
- Passive healing increased from 80 to 120
- Minimum base damage increased to 475

Kinessa
- Kinessa now gains CC immunity and 50% damage reduction while channeling teleporter

Lex
- In Pursuit now deals damage over 2 seconds instead of 1.5
- Decrease distance of combat slide by 10%

Maeve
- Nine Lives now has 500 default healing
- Decrease fall speed of Maeve by 15%

Makoa
- The bonus damage of Pluck is reduced from 80% to 70%
- The health bonus of Leviathan is increased from 1500 to 2000

Mal'Damba
- The bonus damage of Wekono's Wrath legendary is increased from 20% to 40%
Legendaries that focus on ultimates need to be extremely good, even close to verging on overpowered for them to even see a tiny bit of use

Pip
- Rework Acrobatics: Now you can use healing potion during weightless, and in addition gain 30% damage reduction in weightless along with being able to double jump. Also reduce the cooldown of weightless by 2 seconds

Ruckus
- Increase the recharge rate of advance by 10%
- Reduce the recharge bonus rate of Fuel Reserves from 7/14/21/28 to 6/12/18/24
- Recycler: Now gain 150 ammunition
- Increase the size of Ruckus by 5%
During the Dreamhack qualifiers, many teams employed a flanking Aerial Assault Ruckus to great effect. Nerfing his movement while buffing another legendary option and making him easier to hit will bring him back to balanced

Seris
- Rend soul now heals for 10% maximum health for each orb stacked on enemies rather than 15%
- The delay of Convergence is increased from 0.5 seconds to 1 second
- Mortal Reach: Decrease bonus healing range from 300% to 200%
Currently, Seris is too able to flank/deal damage while still healing tanks on the objective due to her OP self healing and her ability to snipe heal from a long distance. Nerfing her healing range and her self healing will bring her closer to what her role should be.

Skye
- Increase minimum base accuracy
- Decrease accuracy lost per shot
- Healing Vapors now heal over 2 seconds

Torvald
- Increase shield health by 500
- Increase duration of Hyper Beam to 2.5 seconds

Tyra
- Increase duration of Crossfire from 4 seconds to 6 seconds, disable fire bomb during Crossfire

Willo
- Decrease base damage of Seed Bomb from 500 to 400

Ying
- Increase illusion healing from 350 to 380
